CARE

Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE) was founded in 1945 to provide assistance to World War II survivors. CARE has since grown to be one of the world's largest international relief and development organizations and currently works in 62 developing countries to help poor people achieve social and economic well being.

CARE operates programs in emergency relief and rehabilitation, education, health and population, small economic activity, agriculture, and community development and environment. CARE supports Networks' efforts related to capacity building of in-country PVO/NGO networks and safe motherhood and child survival programming.
